Good morning. Morning. All right, man. Speaker 2 00:00:50 Good morning. What are you doing? Um, I think getting photos of, like, the one, the demo. Speaker 2 00:01:21 So, when we send photos, I don't want to, I want to look at them more as, like, insurance, right? So, if they come back and they say, you didn't do this right, then we've got photos saying, right? So, when they sent me photos of the demo, but they're not uploaded. What demo, where? Oh. You know what I mean? Speaker 2 00:01:53 So, and it doesn't have to be you. Okay. I don't care how, I'm, I'm just looking for you to manage this. Speaker 3 00:02:03 You wanted to see the process of steps, like, um, how I took the grimoire and went around and chipped off all the... Speaker 2 00:02:23 yeah so when he sent me all these guys I can see if I go through these photos I, can see what worked with that I could see oh yeah we just like that oh yeah it's all wet right there you must have washed that down right so you can upload those. Speaker 2 00:03:00 I'll hand up I'd even be you can afford them I think this is like one of the biggest struggles I put my little test story right and then these troubles I had with. you gotta get in there. I know. I can get in there. I'm willing to. Well, you guys have seen me get in there. Yeah. But if I get in there, then the thinking stops. And you're just focused on that, Speaker 2 00:03:41 not outside of that. Well, your thinking stops, too, because you go, oh, Braden's here. Braden, what would you do about that? Braden, what would you do about that? Braden, what do you think about that? Yeah. Right? I don't want that. I want to be able to walk up and I'm gonna go, Brandon, take care of this thing. You know what to do. We're not there yet, right? We might never be completely there. There's stuff that, like, Cory still has to come up and show me stuff. He wants to do something. He wanted to do this differently than I want to do this differently, okay? Right? Um, but, so, um, yeah. Speaker 2 00:04:21 But my point is like, I go, you know, if you're working on something, hey, take a few photos of this real quick and upload them on. And for you, I don't care. Like, part of me is thinking, maybe I don't tell him to, oh, put it in this folder, that folder, the other folder. Maybe for now I just tell him to put it in the easy guy. I'll tell my 10-second story. Speaker 2 00:04:54 As a safety guy wants, we walk through. And he's like, hey, fix this, and this, and this. And that's good. And I'm like, that's it? Because you're not going to have me fix, like, what about that and that and that? And he's like, look, if I come in here and I point out everything I see, you're going to have 17. I think I'm overwhelming. Let's just, let's do it. Speaker 2 00:05:25 One, three, two, three. That way you and I still like each other after this. And it goes, Flowery Branch, which is our flagship, and those guys thought they were something special. They told me, they decided that they were gonna push me. So they told me that they were perfect and to write everything down. I have three pages full before we even walked into the door of the plant. Speaker 2 00:05:56 You know what I mean? So it's just, yeah. So you work with your guys, right? It doesn't need to be a youth thing. The leader that does it all can't lead because he's doing it, you know what I mean? Yeah. Speaker 3 00:06:12 What's your plan? Well, we were gonna apply membrane seed here. Mortar bed 2000 around the pipes. Clean the pipes with the pressure washer first. When we pressure wash up there, up on top, we're going to hit clean the pipes off. Pressure wash around the pipes here for pipe detail for the mortar bed 2000. Speaker 3 00:06:44 If we apply the mortar bed 2000 today, we're not going to be able to put the, M1 with sand around it. Mortar bed, I mean membrane C. We're going to tape off the threads and put some membrane C on that wall. Is there anything more? Speaker 3 00:07:15 even though there's membrane c on the ground on the floor already we should cover up plastic so when we apply here it doesn't look like that no look like it maybe maybe a little needed um make sure i get to get it right put some plastic down so it doesn't look like a bunch of membrane c drops all over the finger because it's worked it looks kind of patchy yeah you see. Speaker 2 00:07:48 the difference i mean i wouldn't expect you guys to do this or yeah right but look how good that looks right becoming you you know um i wouldn't expect you guys to necessarily do that yeah but, i do think that there's like every time i see like the drops and stuff god man you know um, so yeah maybe you put down some no i didn't bring anything out of the way. We still have the offer, though. Yeah, um, do you still have the tape? Speaker 2 00:08:21 Mm-hmm, we have tape. Um, I had a roll in, like, a cool bag, also. Okay. I'd be okay, not to get too off-topic, but I'd be okay with, like, you keep crazy with me. Like, hey, when Brayden sends me last minute somewhere. Speaker 3 00:08:43 Yeah, I have a little, I have, like, half a bottle of alcohol. Speaker 2 00:08:47 But, I mean, I'd be okay with you saying, supplies, you know, these supplies or whatnot. I'm gonna, or even, like, I've been thinking about a minimum, like, we keep two black boxes on the side for when we separate. You know, and that always has two blankets in there, alcohol, some tape, you know, just a stale, right? um and we need to think about what what would go into that those things so worst case scenario like. Speaker 2 00:09:22 you don't have to go grab those two and we go and oh you're waterproofing okay anyway well all right. um what else no questions okay you lost me a dollar i'll pay you two. Speaker 2 00:09:55 cory and they're going back and forth um not that you guys are taking bets on this i bet on you um and these pipes here we should clean them off too, you have to clean off at least the part where we come up right um yeah so i got here and i went. Speaker 3 00:10:28 wait what do i see there's a bunch of holes i had a question here what's that go ahead there's holes here um like maybe they were gonna put the threads there but they didn't we've been doing those with m1 and sand on them right yesterday from pressure washing they were wet by the end of the day you. Speaker 3 00:10:59 can still see water leaking out of them or it's still wet around them should we address those today okay because i've got pressure wash, it'll be wet again so could i clean with alcohol before i pressure one or what would i kill them with why is it okay to fill but we'd kill those holes with with them more than sand why i am because there's argument these are these aren't really holes there's membrane. Speaker 3 00:11:35 see behind these holes here right right that needs some structure there to it right um it. Speaker 2 00:11:46 wouldn't take the backing this is just a pinhole that was missed essentially um. guy so what i want you guys to do i mean what are we trying to do right um we had to drill holes in there and now what was the whole purpose of you guys coming back here, to seal them up. For what. Speaker 3 00:12:16 For waterproofing. Speaker 1 00:12:19 Mm-hmm. So... Speaker 3 00:12:22 Now, the holes aren't waterproof, right. Speaker 2 00:12:25 Right. Right? So, you lost me a bet because you didn't, I said, I'll bet you Brandon will ask me about it. A dollar side bet? And he goes... Speaker 3 00:12:38 Well, he sold you a dollar because before you mentioned it, I mentioned it to you, right. Speaker 2 00:12:43 Only when I said, do you have any other questions, and you went, nope, and then I showed you the picture, and you're like, wait a minute, the holes. That's why I said you lost me a dollar. And by the way, look, you, this is, this is not, Corey wants people to come in here and, understand everything. I didn't even... until I saw the picture, but when I was explaining the job to you, I didn't tell you, so I have to own my part of it, too, right, but when I saw the picture, I went, oh, shoot, right, so I think that there's, the idea is, so, you know, you know, I don't care for that again, that's okay, you know, I've been, I've been picking team members, team players forever, right, and I've never had. Speaker 2 00:13:51 somebody go, hey, Braden, you stand by this guy, and I go, if I said yes, I've never had this, that guy not be somebody that people went later and said, you know, this is a company. You know, I've never had that. Now, I've had plenty of people who I've hired that I've said, hey, this day ain't going to work, right? Speaker 2 00:14:22 And then they go, Braden, why'd you stand behind me? I told you. I told you in the beginning. I hired this guy. You're not that guy. I stand behind you, you know. Now, I did the dollar side bet hoping to move you up a peg, you know, and also to deflate the situation. Because you've got to manipulate people on both sides of that. So I have to manipulate you to get you to think more like a water guy. Speaker 2 00:14:58 You're a tire guy, but you're not a water guy. I have to manipulate forward. Stop using the whip. right these guys just turn their heads up this is the tunnel vision man you know i'm happy to reach you i told him fix you you know he'll probably ask me about it later um so that's the i know. Speaker 2 00:15:34 what dollars i bet and then in parentheses just for the records like i said i'm probably going to lose a dollar but i'll bet on him anyways so and and truthfully while we were sitting here i was like he didn't ask but i did ask you after so so how would we do that today i'd stick your dremel in there he wants to demo it i don't think you need to but since he's asking us to we will. Speaker 2 00:16:10 okay stick your dremel in there just go like like a screw you know what i mean or like a drill i mean just bevel the edge or open it up a little bit just so we can expose the concrete, i don't think it's necessary but here we are you know and then you have a vacuum right yeah and. Speaker 3 00:16:26 then with the water and we could dry them out we dried them with the heat gun to make sure they were dry for the m1 around the thread i took my blower the blower and stuck the nozzle right over. Speaker 2 00:16:42 the tip of the threads so yeah i almost think that that's where our little air our big air compressor we're coming in we might need a little one too just for those little something a little. Speaker 3 00:16:54 easier to move around too right up there um tire shop or something so. Speaker 2 00:17:10 Yeah, just open that up, clean it out, dry it out, and then you can M1 it, sand it. M1 dries pretty fast. Yeah, 20 minutes. And you don't even, honestly, you don't even need the M1 to be dry. Apply a membrane sealer. As long as it has sand on it, right? No, actually, if M1, the problem is that membrane C can't stick to M1, but M1 can stick to membrane C. Speaker 2 00:17:49 So if the M1 is still, you can apply the membrane C to it. So what you would do is you put on the M1, let it set up, so just a little bit, so it's still sticky, and then apply it. And there's actually no measurable difference between... M1 over sand and M1 over tacky M1 without sand. Speaker 3 00:18:18 That's strange because it doesn't take the water at all. Maybe it's because the liquid that's in the membrane C is something totally different. I don't know. Speaker 2 00:18:27 But I think that's why it's got to be tacky. So it's already kind of set up. Speaker 3 00:18:33 So open up all the holes and dry them out. Take pictures, upload pictures. After I open it up, some pictures of them. Speaker 2 00:18:51 Yeah, so I might say, like, hey, you know, maybe give Rene a drill and you, you know, Dremel. You know, so I'll let you figure it out. But that way, if he's staying pretty, yeah. I know he's saying thank you, but I want him to say productively good to you. Speaker 3 00:19:25 Thorough or official? Thorough, because he was helping me chip off the epoxy. This one will have some epoxy around it, not chipped off, and we'll get the bottom one. Is that the difference? Yeah, yeah, no, that's thorough. You call him out on it? Yeah, you miss this one, you miss this one, and I got to go back to him. But you said, you know, double check. Speaker 2 00:19:52 Yeah, but make him do it. It's twice as effective, in my opinion, when you make somebody else fix their missile. If you fix it for them. It's, uh, oh yeah, but when they have to go back, there's something mental about, like, doing something twice. Speaker 3 00:20:13 Yeah, like, because you've got to kind of fill these holes, like, fill these holes with things. What about being here to move on without getting... Speaker 2 00:20:29 So, I would do two things. Keep doing what you're doing. Well, okay, so make him fix it. But also, though, don't think out of your name. He's like, yeah, yeah, just come with me, I'll do it. Right? How often do I stop? I waste time with you, right? And go, I want you to understand, right? And once he understands, then he'll know what to do. Speaker 2 00:20:60 But if you don't make him exercise his brain, he won't remember. so you gotta go same kind of thing hey what's your plan walk me through it and then here's the key to it when he says something wrong don't point out the problem with it leave him to the point when you do this what might happen right or i see a problem with that can you tell me what it. Speaker 2 00:21:36 is right and you get better at it as you do it more yeah yeah i watched a guy the same guy actually the safety guy walked me through got me to choose my card that he showed me or a pick a card in your head or something i don't know what it was he wrote it down and then he got me to choose the card that i wanted him to choose. Speaker 2 00:22:07 thinking that or that he wanted me to choose thinking that i chose it does that make sense so. Speaker 3 00:22:14 he he like put a card i chose a card he was thinking that you would choose a card you would. Speaker 2 00:22:22 think of a card that he i know but he kept up kept on asking me questions it's like so you know i'll give you a reading digest where you get out any of this you know there's two you know there's four suits there's there's the red ones and there's the black ones which one would you pick, forever now there's the face card and there's the number card which one would you pick the, number oh what's the other one basically okay out of the face cards you know you've got a jack and. Speaker 2 00:22:55 a queen and a queen and a knight which one would you pick you know let's go with the jack you know, Or which one would you pick, the lower one or the higher one? The lower one. Let's go with the higher one. You know, out of those two, which one would you pick? You know, or, you know, that's actually the lower one. You know, and then I go, the queen. He goes, okay, out of the hearts and the diamonds, which one would you pick? The diamonds. Speaker 2 00:23:25 And what's the other one? The hearts. So what are we left with? The queen of hearts. Is that where we're at? Yeah, that's where we're at. The queen of hearts, right? But I chose it. He goes, how do you know how to do that? And he went through it. It's like, it turns out he was the guy that did all the add-ons. His family business was car sales, and he was the guy that did all the add-ons. That's how I learned it. Dude, you use extra things. I believe you. Good question. Speaker 2 00:23:57 Anyway, I gotta run. Think of this, here's my lesson for today and my bet with Corey. Here's where we went wrong. Speaker 3 00:24:14 Don't just look at the job I give you. That's what I was doing yesterday. I just moved my assignments. And it's natural. Speaker 2 00:24:24 But just remember that by the time it's all said and done, you're going to own this job. So it's got to be like that hole, there's something you can do with that hole, right? And he's going to ask me to do it. And it would have been better if he asked me to do that when I was doing all of the freaking things here, right? So once you own it and know that I'm going to ask you to do it anyways, right, now you're my assignment. Speaker 2 00:24:56 So I'm just the teacher. Make sense. Speaker 3 00:24:60 Yeah. I have a question each one of these rods they don't have to be grounded because it's metal and I know there's a grounding wire out here but what what would be the they do they're going to put a. Speaker 2 00:25:16 whole plate on there oh and that plate will be grounded that plate will likely be grounded but I don't see grounding wire it's out it's on the outside of the it's here and it's there and it's so yeah but see that's a perfect example of what we're talking here perfect example I see this I have a problem right cool as long as it's been the reason right too far. Speaker 2 00:25:49 he sent the text while we were talking. Speaker 4 00:26:31 All right Brandon, thank you. Speaker 2 00:28:03 Sorry, comma, be there in five, period. Speaker 2 00:30:57 No, it's just, you know, why don't you guys think of everything? I mean, they, I mean, they're good. They're just learning. We're better. Was it for this or for. Speaker 5 00:31:12 Why is it so dirty, man? It's mine. This is not, nothing for when people are in March. Speaker 2 00:31:26 How does the sand make it all the way? I mean, I guess it just kind of pops up and slowly. Speaker 5 00:31:30 Is it that or from here? Now it's all sand going. The whole pool, the one that gets super bad is the one that's pretty good to walk in. Speaker 2 00:31:56 uh somewhere down in san juan or something like that um we had a friend that i asked you to meet the weather looks nice so uh somewhere somewhere down there she lives down there uh she's like a, family friend slash sister adopted sister if you will oh you know and so she's like hey can i take the boys for a dance yeah there you go so she sent that oh you didn't go no what did i do um. Speaker 2 00:32:27 you know she's like so when she was 19 she was going to biola and my pastor who's the teacher at biola she was one of his students and she had to get kicked out for punching a girl with it, her self-defense type of thing or she was verbally abused and respond, physically you know um and he's like yeah she just needs to stay for like three months. Speaker 2 00:32:58 Yeah, well, she's 36, so, you know, it just turned into a, she's got no family, I mean, she's got family, but then, so, so now she's our family, you know, it's just kind of what. Speaker 5 00:33:16 happens with, with, uh, my family, it just, no, it's everyone, I mean, there's always someone, too, in the family, you guys did have to watch after all, no, uh, we'll do it. Speaker 2 00:33:34 I decided I wanted to do it at the end, um, so I'm going to do it. Speaker 5 00:33:39 I was going to say, and I forgot, it's not something we do for acid wash, but I don't know, because they're going to be spray pumping, if you guys want to cover the tile. Speaker 2 00:33:49 We will. uh yeah i told marty oh my god i said don't don't even bother with this the foot below the pile drop the plastic like two feet below it yeah that's um and then spray it did it and. Speaker 5 00:34:03 for you after they sprayed it and it gets in there no of course you went there yesterday. Speaker 2 00:34:09 did you go in the uh yeah we're doing the setup uh but it's not open yet uh if you went in there. Speaker 5 00:34:30 you told me there's no leaks or anything like that but i'm not seeing any water in it. Speaker 2 00:35:02 Yeah, thank you. So what's your routine or whatnot on like cleaning this all out, all the sand and junk. Speaker 5 00:35:29 Bad. When it gets super bad, then we have to come today before anyone starts swimming. So we just have to flush it out. So how often does it actually get? Just on a weekly basis, say later today when it gets surface. Speaker 2 00:35:51 Oh, okay. You know, that gets back on a weekly basis. So you're at a point where you're just kind of you're the chemical and equipment guy and. Speaker 5 00:36:01 on some not on all okay uh so when you buy it i don't care how you do it right i just asked for my own you know if i would say for example by the time we get to the mirrors that won't be service already but you just check chemicals add whatever is needed that type of thing uh but the other two down here i have still two that's what's there depends sometimes uh sometimes okay there's. Speaker 2 00:36:30 another one that yeah that was later today um if you ever want to think through that i don't want to tell you what to do or anything but you ever has that always been open like that. Speaker 5 00:36:49 yeah which i didn't understand why and then until later when i saw crestline i said i guess it's a new thing you guys are doing not you but i mean. Speaker 2 00:37:01 Is there any benefit? Every once in a while I see these guys turned around. Speaker 5 00:37:12 You mean like pointing in up angle type of thing? Well yeah but completely like turned around. Speaker 2 00:37:20 right. So like they're supposed to be like this where the the circle the small circles in the front right and I'll come and I'll find them like that. Is there any benefit to that? Sometimes when. Speaker 5 00:37:30 you see them where you see them pointing up moving water it's normally when it's windy that I move them up to help me push the water. Right what I'm talking about like completely inverted like 180. No so yeah no there's no. I don't think that you do it I think that you know maybe that. Yeah that the only way that I've seen that yeah I've seen that uh happen if one's a little uh where you tied up it gets a little bit loose but that also happens when we're moving in up over time. Speaker 2 00:38:02 okay all right we can head out no it's like i said if you uh i know we're i've already. Speaker 1 00:38:14 delayed it enough about that no in general the whole thing because uh has this been going on. Speaker 5 00:38:42 since last year summer i think we're going to upgrade that equipment oh okay. Speaker 2 00:38:52 before he mentioned it at one point but it was still like he's just kind of repeating conversations. Speaker 5 00:39:02 oh it's all open i think you said uh you know i was doing the setup down there down here. Speaker 2 00:39:07 gotcha i i thought you were saying it's still closed no no so i'll walk you. okay that one's fine that one's at 1300. how often do you calibrate um the temperature on. Speaker 2 00:39:37 on not obviously not only i was at hoping did the temp on on the water sample for it and i like made sure to run it for a little bit so that was going to flow more, i did it and a couple of them were by a couple of years but how can you. Speaker 5 00:40:02 That, uh, the temp sensor, uh, once a month, seven days, uh, so not on the weekly, no, I wouldn't expect that, but on that one, I haven't, uh, haven't paid attention to the, to the sensors, because they're way overdue, I'm just waiting to see when they'll approve them, because it's already the second year, and they, if I ask you why did they, they're not approving those, uh, anything on that, not even the UV gold or anything. [AI_SUMMARY] The meeting covered waterproofing and pool maintenance, emphasizing quality control, photo documentation, and leadership. Key points included the need for independent team ownership, specific application techniques for materials, and addressing overdue equipment replacements. Discussions highlighted the importance of proper procedures for sealing holes, maintaining cleanliness, and the calibration of temperature sensors, which are overdue for replacement. Action items were outlined, including pressure washing, applying sealants, and taking documentation photos.
