Yeah, that's what I expect. Oh my gosh, he turned into me with his tail wing. Even when his wing was down, I don't know how he did that. Maybe he lost control? He lost control but somehow he still turned. It's surprising. We don't run out parts. Speaker 2 00:00:38 Somebody making me run out perks. Yeah, I'm probably right now. Speaker 1 00:00:53 I Kind of remember this shield. I'm trying to remember what. remember what. Speaker 4 00:01:09 You've never played here. Speaker 1 00:01:12 Yeah, but I mean, maybe I've seen it. Speaker 4 00:01:13 Yeah, you've probably come here with me before. Speaker 1 00:01:33 Is It that girl that you said uh tripled really good? No. How old is the girl? Speaker 4 00:01:39 Young, like that girl. She's played with that girl, but. Speaker 1 00:01:48 Do I do I do I run perfectly? Speaker 4 00:01:52 You do a good job. You get in yeah you separate the ball on the person. Speaker 1 00:02:22 I need. I can spawn it. Okay, buddy. Try not to hit me with your tail whip. I gotta get my own jet. Speaker 3 00:02:42 But he's cooked. Speaker 1 00:02:52 I'm just going this I think that. Speaker 3 00:03:12 Oh, you could. Speaker 1 00:03:53 Kill. Got him bad. P W P W. So bad, jeez. Kill, so bad. Speaker 3 00:05:24 I didn't. Speaker 1 00:07:23 Hmm. Come on, someone pops up. Someone needs to pop up in the air soon. Speaker 5 00:16:45 I started work on Sporhingdon, a custom Lego city built entirely from scratch. I built a train station, a bridge, tube stations complete with underground platforms and custom tube trains, A row of colourful houses and a gloriously British high street, the only part of the city even close to being finished. But a lot can change in a year. In fact everything's gone terribly wrong. Old Misses Green retired. Speaker 5 00:17:21 Is for naught and is now about to start school. Except that there is no school. Nora and Hannah have been brushed off their feet, capping the giant spider invasion, and Graham has mysteriously disappeared. His house boarded up to keep the ghosts inside. The river is dirty and polluted. There's been a spate of burglaries, and worst of all, there's a massive food shortage and everyone's hungry. There's no way for food to get into town. I mean, I don't need to note this, but the road doesn't actually lead anywhere, and the train simply goes in a circle. So yeah everything's normal. Speaker 5 00:17:54 We now seventy three thousand two hundred and sixteen studs worth of base plates. It was time to get to work. The plan for today's video then is to work on this corner patch here. See, the high street is all quite linear and two dimensional. So you've got the river, a path, the road, A path and the buildings and they're all in a straight line. And that's fine. But the back she would is a lot wider and a lot deeper. So to help I am going to divide it into three, like I, said this section from today's video is going to be a village. Speaker 5 00:18:25 Middle is going to be Grand Council Square, and then this corner will connect to High Street. And I'm going to try to ensure that it'll be a bit more built up than the rest of Springwood. This section right here, however, let's be real, it's probably going to take like six years to work on this. But it will eventually be a coastal region. The first step was to lay down the road and raise it up to the height of the existing road. I then put all the bricks in place to raise the base. I really should have filmed that ; that would have made a mesmerising time- lapse, but look at my hand! Leaving my old base plates. And I'll drag in. Speaker 5 00:18:56 This is the chunk I'm going to be finishing in this video, and it looks so smooth. Next, I need to put the train back in place, put the houses back in place, and then I can see what room I've got left to play with. I want to raise the train tracks and build a pair of bridges, but immediately encountered a problem. Actually on the table right now so hopefully this can take my weight. This feels dodgy. Um, but the problem is I built each bridge with exactly one train track. But because the trains from. Speaker 5 00:19:26 Front takes a while to catch up. So as he goes around the corner, he crashes into the wall, which means I need to make the bridge wider. After widening the bridge, I added tiles for the houses to sit on and could finally put them in place. I then laid all the paths in a needlessly complicated herringbone pattern, adding random colourful tiles for the footprints of each building. Built a sideways road for a street of terrace houses, added a bus stop and essentially terraformed the entire section. So this is it all terraformed. You've got village green here I really like the staggered edge of overlap of the tiles. Built a pond, um, And it's really cool because having it raised up means, I can like dig down into it, Which I'm also doing here for this to be a church here, and this is grave yard. Got some Lego coffins. These are great. Um, The train station is going to go there, but that'll be in a different video, and it will be raised up to the height of the train track upstairs. Um, in that corner is going to be a scout hut. There's going to be a pub here. This is where the school is going to go and in. Speaker 5 00:20:25 Front of it are going to be allotments, which I'm very excited to do. And finally, this is going to be street terrace houses. It's all been mapped out here and that's where they will continue in probably several years time. Which means it's time to start actually building things. I began with the school, and I've had an image in my head of exactly how this would look since before I even started Sprottlington, and it's perfect a traditional Victorian schoolhouse. I added a game of hopscotch on one side and a small football net ball on the other. Let's build an iron railing encircling it. Speaker 5 00:20:55 If you live in or have ever been to the UK, then you'll probably feel like you know this school. There is a school almost identical to this in pretty much every British city. Speaker 1 00:21:04 Meet Misses Pennybottom, the headmistress. She's whimsical, warm, wise and universally adored by her students. The newest of which Belle is so excited to begin her education that she's even bought the exact same brand of pen. It's kind of adorable. It feels like Smallington is already healing. So next let's tackle the pupil shortage. I've already built. Speaker 5 00:21:27 I had the idea to open a community vegetable garden in front of the school. I built a greenhouse, a shed, a potato bin, a log pile, a hose compost bins and lots of raised beds overflowing with fruits and vegetables. I had so much fun making these. The cabbages are made using minifigure heads and bricks as is the broccoli. And I included loads of small details, such as a rabbit snacking on the carrots. Lastly I built picket fence around the edge, and not only has it been shorted. Speaker 5 00:21:55 I feel like I need to give you a finished shot of this because it's just so colourful. And so detailed. Alright, who's next? Finn the Ex Fishmonger. With his dreams of opening an aquarium on hold, Finn's bought a small plot of land at the back of his house to realise another of his ambitions, : becoming a scout master. I built a log cabin style hut, added a pirate flag because everyone loves pirates, then built a campfire and hosted water-based canoeing. See, Finn's not giving up on his marine dream entirely. Speaker 5 00:22:31 I was having an oaring about whether or not to build a church, but you just won't find a British village without one. Plus, it was a really great chance to build something architecturally interesting and unique. So I am going to show you a few of my favorite details. Obviously, I had to use props for the gargoyles. I won't do this off right now; maybe later. Um, I showed you the open grave, but. Speaker 5 00:23:02 There we go. Look at that. They're built using, I don't know what they're called, but like these turntable pieces with transparent plates. Um, and I love it. This window, however, Was a lot bigger because of the triangular roof was a lot trickier, so I used uh, transparent bricks. But, sorry um there is going to be a building in front of it. So we're not going to see that. So I'm I'm happy with it. Anyway, next is another building. Any British village would be incomplete without a pub mounted for Judas. Speaker 5 00:23:32 This just might be my favourite building in the whole city. I added tables, parasols, bar stools, A traditional pub sign out front and a pallet to the side stacked with barrels and crates of bottles. In fact I don't know if you noticed, but the pub itself uses barrels, and these curved windows I intended to look like giant ones. I love it! It's probably the most spontaneous building I've built yet. And after consulting resident landlord Morris Muffler, we can now hear The Kipsy Frog still bothering us on. This has all been breakneck speed. So. I just want to recap where we're at so far. So, I laid all the groundwork: we've got the school, the allotments, scout site, St Sprunkleton's and the T C Frog. So I've still got loads of extra details like bus stop and a few other bits. I've still got street for terrace houses. Still got police station, which needs to be built because of burglaries, but I have no idea actually where. Um and I've got loads. Speaker 4 00:24:32 I've ever seen in a smartphone. Like that, that's the Empire StateBuilding all the way over there, and I can just push all. Speaker 6 00:24:38 The way to the windows. I mean, what? So okay, technically not in a smartphone but definitely still being taken by a. How good are fans are? Hey! This. Speaker 5 00:24:55 Is Lego Castle. It has a working portcullis and drawbridge, dungeons, kitchens. Cottages. I got one foot. Speaker 6 00:25:15 Today We're cooking. What else did you travel? Back in twenty twenty one, my buddy Nick was filming a show in a wonderful state of Virginia, and a bunch of my friends wanted to fly down there and make it. Speaker 3 00:25:31 Never. Speaker 7 00:27:41 Select them all and unlock the power of your favorite brawlers. I got the word" scattering." I got the" time" supercharge. Speaker 3 00:27:49 I got" fight storm." What's. Speaker 7 00:28:05 That? Each toy comes back with Star Park gems, giving them real. Speaker 7 00:28:13 Each toy also unlocks new effects for existing abilities. Speaker 7 00:29:26 Don't worry. You now have amazing new powers. Speaker 7 00:29:46 All Star's buffies can't get them in real life. Speaker 6 00:32:59 I'm sorry. Speaker 1 00:37:57 Daddy. This is your mom. Dad, this is your mom. Speaker 4 00:38:05 Hold on. Speaker 3 00:41:10 Okay. Speaker 6 00:50:39 The name of the town is derived from the river. Speaker 3 00:51:18 Oh my gosh. The music is so. Speaker 3 00:52:04 Where's my cake? Speaker 1 00:55:41 This is us, DJ. Speaker 1 00:56:18 What was that? Yeah, is this spoon look bent backwards? Speaker 1 00:57:07 Then there's another one they got. Okay, one second. Speaker 4 00:57:32 That's Definitely you and your brothers. Speaker 3 00:57:43 I'm not going to do that. Speaker 3 00:59:50 I'm Sorry. Speaker 6 01:00:49 The name of the song is "Dance Monkey" by Tones and I. Speaker 3 01:04:32 No. Speaker 1 01:05:54 Daddy, by the way, I haven't been in that account for a long time. Can you get me in? For what? For the account. I haven't been in it. What account? For Kids YouTube. I haven't been for a long time. Speaker 4 01:06:09 So what were you just watching? Speaker 1 01:06:12 No, this is all the normal stuff, but I was watching my videos and stuff. Speaker 8 01:06:24 A nine- year- old girl has saved McDonald's workers from a big fire. N ine- year- old Harper Davis from St Mark's Catholic School is being called a hero for her quick thinking. Speaker 1 01:06:42 It's fake. It's fake. Guy, look how fake this fire is. Speaker 1 01:06:55 So fake. Did you agree? What did she do? The fire. Speaker 4 01:07:01 I saw the fire. What did she do? Speaker 1 01:07:03 She saved a girl. She saved the McDonald's crew. Mm- hmm. The fire looks so fake, oh! Oh! Speaker 8 01:07:12 Look at the TV! Look at this! It's so bright out there! So where does the fire start? It started over there, where the playground is. That's actually. Speaker 3 01:07:39 Bakers. Oh my gosh, I've got. Speaker 6 01:07:47 No, that's not checkmate, Michael. Speaker 3 01:09:07 I'm not going to be able to do this. Speaker 9 01:11:13 Every year I make my kids Halloween costumes. This year was extra special. Netflix Family, the challenge they did, inspired by Pennywise. It was so lovely, we were so excited. The costume's mostly made out of fleece foam. That's my go-to, I just love that stuff. And then the nose is made out of polymer clay. I wrapped it with faux fur. Um the teeth I used cardboard and foam clay, because I feel like it has a hard time drying all the way to the center, and you come up kind of in one of those things that's still like. In the summer. So, anyway, uh, I spray rubber spray and spray paint. I also learned that you can bend acrylic at home, which I think is super exciting. And learn a lot of new stuff on this project. But I did also listen to a lot of advice at the beginning, like to get a razor or buzzer, I don't even know what it's called for cutting their hair. That worked great. Thanks for that. And then I used my acrylic markers to do the spots on his chest. Then, of course, we can't forget stussy. I also used hot glue and hollowed out the body and put LED strips behind the eyes. So. Speaker 9 01:12:13 These eyes glow too. The main thing my daughter was concerned about was that she could wear the tiny little hat too, as Derby, so I made it removable because you know, sharing is caring. He would have. So he does look more dapper in it. I don't know, maybe he looks pretty good on it. Maybe I need one. My daughter's super proud of the costume, and she says it's really easy to move in. So we can't wait to go trick or treating. I made the eyes glow at night and I'm thinking, you know, those little kids are gonna think that's magical, and they're gonna be totally terrified, I'm not sure. Speaker 7 01:12:49 Start doing things get out um if no I'm just playing I kick off the plane until then don't get it nervous. Do I just do I just drop it all right for real, dropping it. Speaker 7 01:13:20 You see my face, so obviously you know who I am. I'm just so cool. I don't know. Probably a lot of your. Speaker 4 01:13:44 We Can go over to that. It ends in fifteen minutes, but gonna go over there real quick? Where? There's a bathroom in there, in that building over there. Mm-hmm. Alright. You sure? Yes. It's gonna be 45 minutes till we get home. Speaker 1 01:14:26 Okay. He said, Oh my gosh. Watch. Speaker 3 01:14:40 You hear it? Speaker 6 01:16:34 Yeah. Speaker 6 01:18:16 Your dinosaurs in a plastic bag. Speaker 4 01:19:17 I'm Gonna. Let's do it then. I'll go with you. I'll drive you. Speaker 1 01:19:27 I know, but my shoes. Speaker 1 01:19:42 They allow you to come in there. I did not expect that many people here. No? Why not? This was like across the street. Across the street. Speaker 2 01:20:22 I have to go peepee on you. Speaker 3 01:20:38 There you go. Speaker 4 01:20:60 Your brother's practice will be over in a second. Speaker 4 01:22:57 This is a lot of money. Speaker 4 01:23:27 I think that all the moss and everything is green. No, I don't actually. Speaker 3 01:23:34 It's pretty good in the back. Speaker 7 01:25:11 Bunches of songs in a row on Jack FM. Only small listeners. Speaker 1 01:25:56 Daddy, You better give me some. You almost got me. Speaker 3 01:26:53 Bye. Speaker 4 01:32:24 I got sick and I was like pushing to the back. Speaker 10 01:32:28 You see, throw it, go at you. Said didn't hit. Yeah,'cause obviously not going down there. Speaker 3 01:32:40 Through it? Speaker 4 01:32:41 You obviously intended. Speaker 3 01:32:42 To get it. How. Speaker 4 01:32:51 Was it? Speaker 10 01:32:53 It was good. Speaker 4 01:33:07 I didn't miss a single pass in the rondos. And, it was so it was like eight v seven, and my team had eight, and it would be like eight in like a ring. So two on each side. Speaker 10 01:33:21 And we'd all be passing the ball back and forth one touch. And then, one person would like from seven, like they would all line up, and then one person would go in. And like sprint in and like as fast as they can try to take the ball away. And coach was counting the passes that we made. So whoever team by the end of the eight tries that they get for like eight people, whichever team had the most passes won. Speaker 10 01:33:56 First round we lost because we, we had um two more people. It was me and the goalkeeper. Yeah. And we had like thirty, they have like like thirty nine passes. And our record was sixty six to be done before them. And then, the goalkeeper before me and I'm last, and the goalkeeper goes. And um they get like a hundred twenty. Speaker 10 01:34:30 And coach is like, alright, I'm calling it. And then like eventually like, coach was like, alright, I'm calling it. And then I didn't get to go. But on the second time around they only got like. Like three passes. On you? Yeah. Speaker 4 01:34:46 That uh. That bad bounce got you yeah? Yeah. So that's. I'm not trying to call you out okay? That's. Speaker 4 01:35:00 On your toes, kind of. You know, I mean, I'm not saying you weren't on your toes. I don't know. It's like you gotta you know, You want to put yourself in the best position for those like split second things. You know? Or if it's not a reflex thing then it's a decision, right? So you got to go into, Oh shoot. How do I save this? Speaker 9 01:35:34 Bond said to you, Ashleian and six others translated. Leaving here. H nine twenty nine. Speaker 3 01:35:45 So I never got the possession. Speaker 10 01:35:49 And then in the game, um, I was like trying to dribble a lot. Actually did really good at dribbling though. Yeah because, It was like a like five and five. Kickers, uh, short net. Like three or start. And it was like me, Javier. He said like really little kickers on the curve. Okay. Um he's like super good, like super smart and he doesn't get touched. Speaker 10 01:36:31 Yeah, I'm. But I got. Speaker 4 01:37:04 Yeah, I mean, everybody wants goals, right? But honestly, like the goals will come. You know, the question is are you creating plays? Are you are you causing is your team winning because of you? You know. Speaker 4 01:37:32 Goals that I had. You know. So. Speaker 3 01:37:45 But so, Alexa said I hate you. Yeah. Speaker 4 01:37:56 That's another relationship we have to figure out how to repair one day. He doesn't deserve it. Speaker 3 01:38:28 Hey Coach. Speaker 4 01:38:37 Not everything needs to be like. Right. You can. You. Because I think the big thing that like the Lord. Doesn't expect us to. It's kind of, you know, it's this I don't know if we're, The beauty about saying "vengeance is mine," you know what I'm talking about? Yeah, is that we can go and we can say, okay, I don't have to get paid back because if he is who he says he is, he's just. Which means he doesn't let anything go. Then I might still see the vengeance. Speaker 4 01:39:36 But I can trust that it's going to happen, and since that's not on me to deliver, you know it is it is on you to like accept it, forgive him, own me right? Because your forgiveness somebody's got to pay the cost. Right? He wronged you. There's a cost to be paid. And by you stuffing it, right? And like going and getting yourself over it, that's you paying the cost for him. That make sense? Which opens you up at that point in time. Now because he's gonna get his, you can go I don't gotta worry about that. So the scale is balanced again. You know what I mean? Speaker 4 01:40:33 So I can, I can just pretend like nothing ever happened. You don't. One day the relationship might be in a place where he goes, "I did you dirty." But that's on him. But you can kind of pay for your when you go, "I don't care really care the fact that you did me dirty. I forgave you a long time ago because I know that's in the Lord's hands." You know but, The reason why I can get over that, that you did that thing to me, is because I have the Lord. And I'd love for you to have the Lord too. Now, that's a little bit beyond. I know you can understand that intellectually, but like, I'm not sure you've embraced that mentality. That's okay. 'Cause honestly. I don't think I could've defined it in the way that I just did. Speaker 4 01:41:35 Five years ago. Speaker 3 01:41:38 That makes sense. So. That is good. Speaker 10 01:42:09 It's not solely because I get into fights with Aiden, But Aiden's, like usually like the kid who starts talking to his friends, and then they all come after me. Speaker 4 01:42:19 And why does Aiden do that? Speaker 4 01:42:38 Secure in themselves, don't need to tell how big they are. When you see humility, you know that that's a guy who. You know. Obviously have the opposite. When you got guys bragging about things and, you know. Speaker 4 01:43:08 It's usually a guy reaching for something. Trying to get something, trying to fill a hole. Hole. Uh, when we were pulling away, Text came through saying that practice had just finished and they were on their way up. Speaker 4 01:43:38 Thirtieth. That's it for you guys. Take a shower, jump in bed. He won't. Speaker 6 01:43:54 Be home till nine forty five probably. Speaker 4 01:44:08 Well, Maddie, if you start grinding your teeth tonight, I'm gonna put a pillow over your head. Speaker 5 01:44:16 And shove a sock in his mouth. Speaker 4 01:44:18 Huh? Shut up, Maddie. A dirty one though. No, You know what I'll do is I'll plug his nose, so that way he's got to breathe through it. Yeah, he's got to keep his mouth open. Speaker 4 01:44:40 You know what we used to do? One of our friends was like, we had a sleepover and one of our friends was snoring really bad. We plugged their nose. Speaker 10 01:45:03 Spray Fart spray in their mouth. Imagine how bad that would be. Edible fart spray. You're smelling fart spray in your mouth for like the rest of the day. Remember how long that stayed on my shirt? Speaker 1 01:45:17 Yeah. Oh, you smelled so bad, Alec. I didn't smell bad. You just smelled bad. I was wearing a shirt. Speaker 4 01:45:26 That's what you stay after you get over it? No. Ben's not here? Nope. Ben's not here? I said no! Ben's not here? Okay, uh. Speaker 4 01:45:48 Um. I'm gonna let you sleep in a little bit more. Today I had to go to North Hollywood. Yeah, Speaker 1 01:45:55 No wonder I couldn't get up. You literally jumped on me. I did jump on you, Speaker 4 01:45:60 Just one but tomorrow, I don't have to be anywhere till seven thirty maybe? So you'll be up? Um, I still gotta get out of here. Well as. So you gotta wake up really early? Shoulds. Huh? Get up at five thirty. No, I'm gonna be up. I think, but I don't know. So when I wake up, will you be there? Mm no. Why? Depends on when you wake up. But I gotta figure out my schedule. Gotta stop by the warehouse in the morning, I think. What? Speaker 10 01:46:33 No, she's gonna. Betty, I got up at five fifteen this morning. Yeah Five fifteen! Speaker 10 01:46:48 I like looked outside and it was still dark. It was so confusing. I took the time, it's so cold. What? Speaker 1 01:47:41 I know. I gotta go. We need to call mommy. Hm? We need to call mommy. No, mommy's out. Speaker 4 01:47:47 How? She's. She's got. This is like. If she could call, she would call, so. Trust me, I would love to talk to her too. Speaker 10 01:48:45 Game. Game. Uh- huh. No, it's an hour and a half. Speaker 1 01:48:51 Oh! Game! Carnival game! Speaker 2 01:48:56 What about it? Speaker 3 01:48:59 Oh! I'm going. I'm going to go get something to eat. Speaker 4 01:49:47 Let's get undressed and then go get in my bed, okay? And Eric, once you're ready, just call me. Speaker 10 01:50:14 What Was wrong with the. I don't remember if she said that there was anything wrong with the application thing. I gave to you. The questions. Speaker 4 01:50:25 Um, I didn't see any problems with it. I sent them to your mom and asked her thoughts. That's why I know it's not for you yet because she hadn't responded. So, but I thought it was fun. You know, if I was to really kind of, Correct anything, I would say you didn't quite. I think you did on the first one, but not on the second and third one. Or, maybe just the second one was like you didn't answer in a complete sentence. So in the sense of like uh it's like who's a person you admire? It's like first, you know, I think he did for the third one. Speaker 10 01:51:16 I think we should save up for a new table, for a new coffee table. Why?'Cause I want it. Think about how much nicer it would be. Speaker 4 01:51:32 What? For you guys to ruin something else? Speaker 10 01:51:36 You know, it would be so much easier to clean. It wouldn't have the the wooden the or not the wood, the glass panels. Speaker 4 01:51:45 You know what we should do. I mean, so we could actually fix that. What? Um, okay. Fix what? Um, we could seal the glass in there. I probably should have done that on this thing though. Never thought about it though. Also. Speaker 10 01:52:14 The, the one that mom said that if we're gonna get a new coffee table this, this is what we should get. It's like it has like cupboards in here and it you could like take the table out. And then it becomes bigger because we like never have any room on our table. We should get that.
