Oh oh, baby give me every dream, and I'm in love with being queen. Speaker 4 00:16:50 And we'll never be right. Skipping one minute of intro. Speaker 5 00:16:55 Breaking news, just as we go on the air today, Fbi Director Kash Patel has just released images of a person of interest in the Nancy Guttridge kidnapping are circulating now on social media. Man in ski mask on Nancy Guttridge's front porch will follow this story. Also in news, A federal judge in California has tossed out that state's ban on ICE agents wearing masks. Judge said it violates the Constitution's supremacy clause, another L for Governor Gavin Newsom. You know that thing by the way they say never happens? Well, it happened again. A jury in Massachusetts has convicted an illegal immigrant of voting plus two supporters. Ayisha Asni tells us detailing cut five. We're talking about a fifteen-year-old illegal immigrant who's been in the country for years, stole someone else's identity, and then voted in the twenty twenty four presidential election. Take a look at this photo here. This is Maria Arroyo Hernandez. In this picture, you can see her right there, wearing an I Voted sticker that we all get when we go to cast our ballots. The illegal was also apparently involved in a scheme to steal four hundred thousand dollars in taxpayer benefits. Once again, the thing they say never happens has happened. It's happening all over the country. Homeland Security official Joseph B Hetlow testified before Congress this morning. Listen to this: Over the past year, U S C I S has made nearly thirty three thousand fraud referrals to law enforcement, a one hundred and thirty eight percent increase over previous years. We conducted thousands of site visits to homes and workplaces and thousands of social media checks to ensure aliens aren't espousing anti American sentiment. Speaker 5 00:17:45 Moreover, our fraud detection and national security team completed over twenty one thousand investigations, identifying fraud in approximately sixty five percent of those cases. In Operation Twin Shield in Minneapolis Saint Paul back in fall, we uncovered marriage fraud, visa misuse and student visa abuse, leading to denials of immigration benefits, arrests and removal proceedings. This work led to Operation Tyrus, Speaker 6 00:17:56 Where we continue reexamining thousands of refugee cases in Minnesota conducting thorough background checks and in person reviews. Speaker 5 00:17:60 Also did it was obvious before wake up. The illegal immigration crisis is real, and you are being robbed blind. And. This just ended the show news today, Jamie Comer of the House Oversight Committee. He's the chairman now looking into illegal aliens appearing in jury pools and on voting rolls in Michigan, more political news. One thing is, clear democrats have learned nothing from their defeat twenty twenty four. Let me introduce you to the supposed moderate Democrat candidate for president, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. So we're told relentlessly by the media that Beshear is a moderate, a reasonable Democrat who can talk to people in red America. Well, Yesterday, Andy Beshear went on " T, he V ie w ". And in a matter of minutes, he obliterated that myth. There was no moderation, only madness. Remember when Kamala Harris was outsmarted by the brainless family hens over there? Well, Beshear proved to be even dumber and more radical than Harris ever was. When you strip away the accent and the aw shucks. What you're left with is a Democrat who plays moderate in tone, but carries water for the radical left. Let's start with the most disturbing issue: mutilating children with transgender surgeries. We've been here before; Kamala Harris ran on this: surgeries for minors? Sure she says; taxpayer funded surgeries for inmates? Sure; American people recoil of course. Speaker 5 00:18:44 You think Democrats might learn something? Have they? Well, you tell me. On the view, Andy Beshear, the supposed moderate, Defended mutilating children with life - altering irreversible surgeries, because he said God wants us to do it. Not one. But, we rarely talk about the lies. People are no wiser to rise us, especially in a world of social media, where everyone's looking for the next hot take. I think for me that's my faith. Most of decisions I make are based on my global literacy and how we embrace ourselves and that terrible. Good. Samaritan says, everyone is our neighbor. And. So when I've taken actions like vetoing a nasty piece of anti - LGBTQ legislation that came to my state, I described it those terms. I said my faith teaches me that all children are children of God, and anyone will pick on those kids absolutely disgusting Andy Beshear. One of these Democrats who uses religion and faith to justify every terrible thing they want to do. They try to shame common sense Christians in the process. These radicals like Bashir make the punchline, and they're more of a political cudgel. There's nothing worse than politicians in the church, and wolves in sheep's clothing. And while Lady Bashir is invoking God, the medical consensus is moving the other way. Europe is pulling back. Doctors groups finally admitting there's a lack of evidence. Long-term data shows regret, sterilization, and irreversible harm. The science and most of Western civilization is screaming to stop this madness! And yet Lady Bashir is telling you with a straight face that God wants you to mutilate these children? This is not compassion! It's not faith! It's moral depravity dressed up as virtue! Point another issue where Democrats are wildly out of step with reality : Voter ID - an easy issue if there ever was one. Virtually everyone supports it: Democrats, Republicans, Independents, minority voters. The answer here from Lady Bashir on YouTube? Explaining why it isn't reasonable for half of Americans to prove they are citizens before registering to vote. You're about to. Speaker 5 00:19:44 Voter ID is something that large majority of Americans support. Kentucky does require voters to show ID for a federal or state election. Where do you fall on this? Well, I consider myself a pragmatist. No, I think that we can agree that election security is an important thing. But when you create policies, they're so onerous, you push people out who have the right to vote, who should be able to register. And so I think on any policy about what's reasonable. Aisha said it's not reasonable for Americans to prove their citizenship to register or show ID if they want to vote. 89 8, just fly by here, going back in town with a car into the very capital where Aisha has his office, but could decide who governs the United States Aisha said they'd ask me two hundred dollars. This is from the same party that lectures you endlessly about defending democracy. They don't want secure elections. They want unguarded elections Again. This doesn't moderate without this too radical, and finally advance them all the way off. Every. every city, every community that they're in. Every agent, every city, every community. Has become a leader in never sedated as one of the leading immigration laws. They don't fly in blue jurisdictions. Bashir knows this is what the radical base wants. He's blindly obeyed along instead of taking a common sense stand, which says let's just simply enforce, long standing immigration law. Remember this isn't Democrats'. Your whole is tolerance, unless we clear about what we're dealing with on child transgender surgeries, Bashir normalizes, the activists and trans cults over parents and science on voter ID, which would pay us over confidence on immigration enforcement against broken borders, and with twenty million illegal aliens over the rest of America's actual citizens. This isn't Democrats' moderate. Speaker 5 00:20:43 What does that tell you about the rest of their party? He was here didn't just go on the view yesterday. He exposed a democratic party so captive to its radical base, they even moderates can't tell the truth anymore. They've built internet people or money. Scott Jennings is Tuesday February eighth to tenth. My first guest today, district attorney from northwest Georgia. He works in four different counties. He's argued before the Georgia Supreme Court, he enlisted in Colonel and a deputy staff gaggle attorney in national guard, and he is running in a special election March the tenth to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene in Congress late orders here on this Scott Jennings show Mr Pollard. Speaker 6 00:22:07 Get up, thanks. Well, We're glad you're here and I'd like to kick things off by just simply asking what made you want to run for Congress and follow Marjorie Taylor Greene? Well, one of the things that President Trump has had a path. And, that's one of the things that I was honored when I last Wednesday to get his endorsement. One of the things they told me on that phone call was "Hey, you're a rocket ship. You're a rocket ship. " That's, what I really appreciate the endorsement, and we're going to celebrate this victory and get out there again in this campaign in 202 4 to make sure that we win this more seats. So, to be clear here, this is a special election. There are a lot of people running, but only one person in this race has the endorsement of President Trump, and it is you, Clay Fuller. When you spoke with the president did he discuss any particular issues with him? Did he focus on anything? No, There was one of the things that he made clear was just about the criminal justice and make sure that people are supporting what they're in Montgomery County. One of the things he told me, he's got an eighty-two percent success rate. So he told me, "Play eighty-two percent play." It's going to be the thing. That's what our focus is. We're going to go out and be the hardest working campaign around Montgomery County and get there fighting for him on March eleventh. Play your tough on crime, That's your record. And a lot of issues on law enforcement is talking right now. As you look at what's being done by immigration, as you look at soft - on- crime policies of Democrats around the country. If you make it to Congress, This will be an area where we're going to focus hiking up here on violent illegal aliens or violent criminals from fleeing communities in America. This would have been a big issue when I talked about it. So as I said, America first is returning tough - on- crime. One of the things I've seen over my career that there was trust in border access, all these simple cases, but. Speaker 5 00:25:48 It's got change here on Salem. You are listening to "Two Dollars Cents" with the American people, and joining us now live from the U.S. Capitol, Representative from Wisconsin's first congressional district, chairman of the committee on housing and infrastructure, As well as the chairman of the crypto subcommittee on the House Financial Services Committee. He's twelve congressman Ryan Stiles in the show. Ryan, thanks for being here. Good afternoon to you all. I know you just got off the House floor today. ; maybe give us a quick update what we're voting on today? I've seen some back and forth in terms of House rules votes, And I know we have a very slim majority right now. ; give us a little bit of color on what's going on in the House floor this morning? They were having a little back and forth on the House rules, Which is needed as a parliamentary procedure to open up the week on the floor. But they handled a really important piece of legislation, The Save America Act being the most important bill in front of us this week. This is always kind of the dance here at the start of the week in House Republicans with an early majority, but again today we'll get this done. We always do. I just delivered those laws. Congressman, I want to play a little bit of sound for you. This is a hearing that took place this morning. Congressman Eric Swalwell from San Jose, California was buzzing at then Acting Director Kyle McKeon Lyons: "Mr. Lyons cut down." "We have Brian's reaction." Cut down Swalwell: "Mr. Lyons?" "We have his resignation twice. " Those are all right now because they're that child that you're showing right there in medical advice to care for him as his father did it in random order time. " There's been a lot of propaganda and misinformation from Democrats on immigration and against ICE this morning. Here he reacts sir? Speaker 7 00:26:35 Well, The Democrats are going to continue their misinformation campaign, where their energy should be spent on talking to their elected representatives from blue states and telling their local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE. When local law enforcement is working together with ICE, everyone is safer and ICE can do its job. It's in jurisdictions like Minnesota that have fought back, refused to cooperate where the more challenging environments exist. The Democrats don't want to talk about that, but instead if we're focused in on working together with local law enforcement, We do a lot of good by removing the worst individuals who are in this country illegally. Congressman Yancey referenced that the most important thing going on this week or one of the most important is the Save America Act. And I know that you are also touting your new legislation, which you're calling the Omega Act. Please tell us about the Save America Act. Is it going to pass? And then tell us about your new bill and how they work together. So overall, what are your key issues? Thank you And play your lives so important that these things get investigated. We need to do a number of things to completely reinstall election integrity in our system. The MAGA Act includes the full list. The Save America Act picks up the two most important that we're going to move first, and the Save America Act is about making sure that it's only U.S. citizens who are voting in U.S. elections, coupled with photo identification, Two absolutely essential election integrity provisions, which will come before the House of Representatives later this week. As we continue to build on that, I think there's more work to be done. I think you need to have paper ballots and you need clean voter rolls, you need to ban mail-in voting, You got to stop people from ballot harvesting and down the list out of the gates with Save America Act focused in on those two key provisions : photo identification, U.S. citizenship verification for people who vote in U.S elections. Speaker 5 00:27:29 Yet democrats continue to take the wrong side of an issue. American people want voter ID in this country. Democrats want it, white voters, black voters, hispanic voters, men, women, tall short every kind of voter in america wants common sense voter ID. They only want american citizens to vote in elections. Yet, your colleagues in washington are adhering to these crazy talking points, and they actually believe the things that are coming out their mouth right now. Speaker 7 00:27:43 Held a hearing earlier today on the administration's media that I chair about these key election integrity reforms. And we heard the Democrats double down on their language. This is the same language that they used in twenty twenty one when the state of Georgia put forward. And implemented election integrity legislation. We remember back about four years ago, then President Biden called the Georgia law Jim Crow two point oh. You listen today, you're hearing Chuck Schumer call the Save America Act Jim Crow two point oh. But, we can look back at the state of Georgia and say, how did it actually play out? The state of Georgia held two major statewide elections since they passed their election integrity legislation. And what we see is strong participation, positive experiences, and people having more confidence in how elections are operating. We have the opportunity to do that, not just in the state of Georgia, but to move that across the entire nation by passing Save America Act and implementing these key reforms. And in particular photo identification is so obvious, it's so common sense, it's why it's popular. Speaker 7 00:28:13 You want to open a bank account, or you want to buy a six-pack of beer. You ultimately need photo identification. It makes sense that we also need that to be able to vote. I think that's why you're going to see it pass on the House floor, and hopefully we pull Democrats with us. Although, the majority of Democrats will continue to use their talking point and tell you that this is some sort of bad bill. Congressman Ryan, style of Wisconsin in which you're here today on the Scott Jennings show, Congressman York Mega Act that you mentioned a moment ago, raises the issue of ranked choice voting. We've seen this push in some states and some municipalities. You'd like to ban ranked choice voting? Tell us why? Ranked choice voting causes massive confusion with voters The challenge that we have is how do we reinstall election confidence, election integrity across the system. You want to have one person, one vote. What you don't want is ranked choice voting, which is how states have implemented this across the country. And, so the mega act picks up all the key election integrity provisions that we need. You got to be able to have auditable paper ballots. You got to ban ballot harvesting. What you want is photo ID and citizenship verification as part of the state act as well. But ranked choice voting has been set up by democrats to try to rig elections in otherwise republican states because they get a candidate of their choice across the line. But at the crux of it, it really confuses the electorate. Results, in particular, aren't known on the day of the election. And when results aren't known on a day of an election that sows a lot of confusion and distrust inside your election system, which is why we should ban ranked choice voting. Speaker 7 00:29:00 The. Million housing units short in the United States. It's, one of the biggest drivers of rising up costs for families are trying to get into a first home or a bigger homes as their family grows. Making sure that we are increasing supply by cutting regulatory red tape is the focus of the housing act that passed House Republicans. And what we're trying to do is bring down that cost of housing. So that families can move into a home they need. Congressman Stalder, You serve on the Education Services Committee and specifically, you run the Subcommittee that deals with cryptocurrency. There's a lot of volatility in crypto right now, what are some of the key proposals coming out your subcommittee? Uh The American Innovation Act. There is there is volatility inside crypto space, It's all the more reason that we need a regulatory framework, and we call clarity. Speaker 7 00:29:42 The House of Representatives has put in place a regulatory framework that does two key things. One, it protects consumers with appropriate disclosures; that's important. But it also sets up the United States out compete, in particular, China. What we saw under the Biden administration was anti - crypto legislation that had two negative implications. One, It prevented the United States from being a leader of innovation and development in this space. But two, it shifted that outside the United States of America. We look at, for example, the FCI Act of October or other challenges that we've seen. The bulk of those challenges have occurred outside the United States. President Biden was pushing that outside the United States, putting a pen to paper alongside Securities and Exchange Commissioner Gary Gensler. If President Trump is coming in and declaring that this is going to be the golden age of digital assets, We have before a pro digital assets agenda, building out their regulatory framework so that there's clarity for people who want to innovate and develop in the United States, so they can do business in the United States, So create jobs and provide the consumer protections are needed to make sure people understand that they are safe engaging in space. Speaker 5 00:30:16 On our final question: How is the work going on banning members of Congress from trading stocks? A lot of conversation around that. Do you think that will happen this year? Speaker 7 00:30:21 I am optimistic that it will. I introduced the Stop Insider Trading Act. We are approaching a hundred members of Congress who co-sponsored this legislation. I had a commitment from leadership that they will bring this legislation to the House floor, and we passed it out of committee eight to four. So, we have an opportunity to prevent members of Congress from buying stocks once they become members, step pre-disclosure if there's a sale. The goal here is to make sure that the American people know their member of Congress is coming to Washington to serve them, not to line their pockets. It's my view that if anybody wants to day trade, there's a place for that and it's called Wall Street. We don't want people coming into Washington to trade stocks. ;. We want you coming into Washington to serve. And move this country forward. Congressman Brian Sals was on today for joining us and good luck in the House. This week A little bit of news on H and Paine Samuel Laird here from College Station Texas age eighty five was having issues pain, keeping failed from riding his bike and flying small aircraft.
